Elevating Premium Women's Fashion with Armenian Cultural Prints

About

Narny is an Armenian fashion brand specializing in premium quality women's clothing with unique prints that reflect Armenian culture. The company produces a wide range of garments including dresses, pants, skirts, suits, and accessories, all featuring distinctive and culturally inspired designs.

Role

I collaborated with Narny for many years, contributing to the development of their distinctive print collections. Each year, I created a new collection of prints that were used in the production of various clothing items and accessories. My role involved adapting client sketches, developing my own illustrations, and preparing patterns for different types of printing processes. This often required a deep understanding of pre-print preparation for textile production.

Tasks

Throughout my collaboration with Narny, I prepared over 300 prints in various color schemes and patterns. This work involved the adaptation of client sketches into fully developed prints, as well as the creation of original illustrations that captured the essence of Armenian culture. I was responsible for ensuring that all designs were print-ready and met the high-quality standards required for textile production. Additionally, I handled the technical complexities of pre-print preparation, ensuring that each pattern was suitable for the intended printing method.

Results

Our collaboration significantly expanded Narny's product line, enhancing the brand's recognition and boosting sales. The unique and culturally rich prints played a crucial role in the company's growth. As a result of our work together, Narny’s products are now sold internationally in Georgia and Russia, and the brand has become a regular presence at fashion shows. The increased visibility and expanded product range have solidified Narny's reputation as a leading producer of premium women's fashion in the region.
