Suvie Collaboration: Elevating Recipe and Packaging Designs
About
Suvie is an American food-tech company known for its patented device that makes cooking healthy meals quick and convenient. It prepares a variety of pre-cooked ingredients that only need to be placed in the device to start the cooking process. Suvie offers a wide range of recipes to suit all tastes, with the option to subscribe for weekly meal deliveries.
Role
I worked with Suvie on a contract basis for over three years. My responsibilities included designing and updating mealcards, managing recipe updates, handling labels and packaging design, and creating promotional materials.
Tasks
I annually refreshed mealcards with three to six different designs per recipe type. I managed 60-90 active recipes each year, updating data, processing photographs, and preparing files for print. I also updated all ingredient labels, packaging, and boxes, ensuring they were print-ready and up-to-date. Additionally, I designed booklets, leaflets, flyers, and instruction manuals to support Suvie's promotional efforts.
Results
Through careful storage, cataloging, and timely updates, my colleagues always had quick and easy access to all of the company's printed materials. This efficient system allowed for rapid changes to menus, promotions, and the timely printing of necessary materials.
